78th Apollo clinic launched in Uppal

Apollo Health and Lifestyle Ltd. (AHLL), has launched its 78th multi-speciality clinic facility, at Uppal in Hyderabad. With this launch the company is inching closer to its goal of having 100 clinics across India by 2018. Sangita Reddy, chairperson & managing director, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited said, "With the launch of the new multi-specialty clinic we have broadened our reach this time around in the growing suburb of Uppal. Apollo Clinics are family care centres which cater to all the medical needs of all family members. The launch of the new Apollo Clinic at Uppal reflects our commitment to providing superior quality health care services, world class treatment facilities and expert consultants to address the day-to-day healthcare needs of people all over the country.” The company had recently said that it would invest Rs 500 crore in the next five years to expand its core businesses across the country. The subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has five primary care formats; Apollo Clinics, Apollo Sugar, Apollo Diagnostics, Apollo White and Apollo Dialysis. Last December, AHLL has raised around Rs 450 crore from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) by selling 29 per cent stake in the company. At present, AHLL has 72 Apollo White dental hospitals, 42 Apollo Diagnostics, 12 Apollo Spectra surgical hospitals and six Apollo Dialysis centres in the country.
