Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) will train vaccinators/ supervisors to make them fully aware of all protocols set by WHO and GoI about COVID-19 vaccine and vaccination to minimise Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI). AHPI has organised a short 150-minute online training complying with the protocols and guidelines set by WHO and GoI. The vaccinators could complete this short training at their convenience of time and space and access to this online training via any of the available devices like smartphones, desktops, tabs or laptops. On completion of this short training, AHPI would award them a participation certificate. The knowledge partner in this initiative is ‘SkillEd India’.
Module 1 of the programme will cover ‘Coronaviruses and COVID-19 vaccines-an overview; Module 2 on ‘Management of COVID-19 vaccines’; Module 3 on ‘Preparation and administration of COVID-19 vaccination’; Module 4 on ‘Managing Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) post-COVID-19 vaccination’; Module 5 on Documentation process of COVID-19 vaccination’; Module 6 on ‘Essentials of Community Communication on Covid vaccine and vaccination’; Module 7 on ‘Frequently asked questions with respect to the COVID-19 vaccine’.
