Amrut Medhekar has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer – CDMO Business at Akums Drugs& Pharmaceuticals. With over 27 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Medhekar is set to lead the strategic growth and operational excellence of Akums' CDMO division.

Before joining Akums, Medhekar served as President, India Business – Rx, Contract Manufacturing, Gx & Global API at Wockhardt, where he played a crucial role in steering key strategic initiatives. His extensive career also includes leadership roles at Zydus Group, Ranbaxy, and Torrent Pharmaceuticals, where he demonstrated excellence in strategic planning, business development, and digital initiatives.
