API Holdings hosts HackEasy Season 3 hackathon with AWS, tech professionals build AI solutions for healthcare, 3 winning ideas fast-tracked for integration.

API Holdings, India’s largest digital healthcare platform and the parent company behind major Indian healthcare brands, including PharmEasy, Thyrocare, Ascent Health, Retailio, and Aknamed, has concluded the third edition of its annual technology hackathon, HackEasy Season 3.

Conducted in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the 30-hour innovation challenge brought together more than 150 technology professionals across 35 teams to develop AI-powered solutions aimed at improving healthcare accessibility, operational efficiency and digital innovation. Three winning solutions are now being fast-tracked for integration into API Holdings’ product and business roadmap.

Sharing his thoughts about HackEasy Season 3, Rahul Guha, Managing Director and CEO of API Holdings, said, “HackEasy Season 3 reflects our commitment to fostering a culture of experimentation and technology-led problem solving, enabling teams to develop solutions that can create meaningful impact across the healthcare ecosystem. The quality of ideas showcased during the hackathon demonstrates the immense potential of AI in improving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experiences, and driving smarter healthcare outcomes. We are excited to fast-track the winning solutions into our product and business roadmap and translate these innovations into real-world impact.”

Pranav Saxena, Chief Product & Technology Officer, API Holdings, shared: “HackEasy Season 3 was a tactical proof-point in our transition to an AI-native operating system (Software 3.0). By compressing the innovation cycle and integrating agentic workflows directly into our core product roadmap, we are architecting for unprecedented operational leverage and system-wide scalability. We are no longer just a digital healthcare leader; we are building the intelligent, modular infrastructure that will define the next decade of healthcare delivery.”

API is not just digitising Healthcare Commerce-it is building the AI infrastructure for Bharat’s Healthcare Future. WhatsApp commerce, voice agents, agentic engineering, AI security, warehouse intelligence, and lab audits are turning API into an AI-first healthcare platform at scale. API is transforming voice from a support channel into an intelligent commerce engine by reimagining how India orders medicine/healthcare services. From call centers to conversations: API is turning WhatsApp into an AI-powered healthcare ordering channel. API is moving traditional phone-based ordering into an AI-assisted WhatsApp journey, where customers can discover, reorder, clarify, and transact inside a familiar chat interface. Multi-agent development workflows are accelerating engineering productivity, speed to market, and innovation velocity.
