The clinic chain is leveraging the combination of AI technology to provide physiotherapy services across its clinics for the first time in India
Apollo Clinic, one of the leading chains of multi-speciality clinics in India, recently partnered with Fix Health (YourPhysio previously), a healthcare company that specialises in providing AI-assisted physiotherapy. Through this partnership, the clinic chain is bringing care from the top experts across India to a patient’s home via in-clinic, at-home & online care. The AI ensures precision in tracking the movements of an individual.
Apollo Clinic is also conducting regular camps across its societies and clinics of AI-based posture assessment tests that have been developed by Fix Health’s team of engineers from IIT Bombay & BITS Pilani. Patients visiting the clinics have to simply pose in two positions while an expert, using a mobile phone captures the patient’s posture & movement through the Fix Health app. The app then automatically assesses the postural health status of the patient using AI & delivers the report on WhatsApp in less than one minute.
Apollo Clinic has already used Fix Health for posture & ergonomic assessment of corporate desk job workers where more than 25 per cent have been found to have forward neck posture by 11 degrees – thus showing potential early risk of neck & back pain.
