Applied Materials acquires Perceptive Engineering

Applied Materials will bring new therapies to market with assured quality, higher yields, reduced costs and all with optimised productivity

Applied Materials has acquired Perceptive Engineering, headquartered in Manchester, UK, a leader in advanced process control and model predictive control in the pharmaceutical industry. Perceptive’s PharmaMV advanced process control (APC) platform complements Applied Materials’ SmartFactory Rx portfolio by bringing the value of multi-variate data analysis, model predictive control, and machine learning algorithms to the pharmaceutical industry.
