The system, powered by the Vitros Automation Solution, represents a major step forward in diagnostic testings

Asian Hospital, Faridabad has introduced Total Lab Automation (TLA) in collaboration with global diagnostics leader QuidelOrtho. The system, powered by the Vitros Automation Solution, represents a major step forward in diagnostic testing, bringing faster and more accurate results to patients.

With the introduction of this technology, Asian Hospital is transforming the way laboratory tests are conducted. Automated processes significantly reduce turnaround times, which means that doctors can access test results quickly, especially in critical or emergency situations.

This allows for faster diagnosis and treatment, improving patient outcomes, according to Dr NK Pandey, CMD, Asian Hospital.

The new system uses dry chemistry technology, eliminating the need for lab-grade water. This not only prevents water-related contamination but also ensures consistently reliable and precise results. It also makes the system more sustainable and eco-friendly, saving millions of litres of water each year and consuming less electricity, according to Dr Pandey.

The hospital houses 14 Centres of Excellence including oncology, cardiac sciences, neurology, gastroenterology, transplant medicine, advanced surgery, and mother & child care, among others.
