Aster MIMS hospital contributes Rs 50 lakhs for Vidya Kiranam Project

The project received its first boost from Aster MIMS hospital

Aster MIMS Hospital has contributed Rs 50 lakhs for Vidya Kiranam Project. The Vidya Kiranam project was announced by the government to strengthen the public education sector in Kerala and to ensure that all deserving students have access to electronic learning materials such as laptops and tablets. The project received its first boost from Aster MIMS hospital, As Dr Azad Moopen Founder CMD, Aster DM Healthcare presented the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan with assistance of Rs 50 lakh. 

Speaking on the contribution, Dr Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman and Managing Director, Aster DM Healthcare, said, “Providing all means to education is the need of the hour to further strengthen the public education system and utilise all its possible areas. The public support is essential for the institutions running by governments. Vidya Kiranam is an exemplary project and we at Aster are proud to be associated with the project.” 

Also present at this function was Kerala and Oman Regional Director of Aster Hospitals Farhan Yasin.
