Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with La Trobe University. Under the visionary leadership of Dr Mohamed Adil AA, Managing Director of BBC and La Trobe University, led by Prof Theo Farrell, the MoU opens new avenues for collaboration in biotech, healthtech, medtech etc forging stronger ties between Karnataka and the Australian state of Victoria.
The partnership, through the Exchange Corridor, provides a dynamic platform for entrepreneurs, startups, researchers, and investors from both regions to collaborate, scale innovations, and advance technology readiness across diverse sectors.
Dr Adil AA highlighted the centre’s pivotal role in driving innovation, emphasizing the importance of the biotech ecosystem in Karnataka. The delegation also had the opportunity to witness firsthand the synergies between the IT/BT sector in the city and state, reinforcing the significance of this collaboration.
