Biocon Biologics Limited, a fully integrated global biosimilars company and subsidiary of Biocon Ltd. (BSE: 532523, NSE: BIOCON), has been named an Asia IP Elite for 2025 by IAM (Intellectual Asset Management), the world’s leading IP publication. This accolade highlights the company’s exceptional IP value creation among Asia-based leaders.

The award, presented at IPBC Asia in Tokyo from November 18–20, 2025, recognizes Biocon Biologics for robust IP management that supports innovation in biosimilars. Biocon first joined the list in 2016 as the pioneering Indian pharma firm, with Biocon Biologics upholding this legacy; together, they represent one of the few consistent Indian entries.

Shreehas Tambe, CEO & Managing Director of Biocon Biologics, stated: “Our inclusion in the Asia IP Elite list for 2025 marks the ninth consecutive year that Biocon and Biocon Biologics have appeared on this prestigious list. This reflects our sustained commitment to innovation and a strong intellectual property strategy. It reinforces our growing stature as a global biosimilars leader and the role of our IP strategy in expanding access to high-quality, affordable therapies for patients worldwide.”

IAM selects honorees through rigorous quantitative and qualitative research, spotlighting firms that integrate IP into core operations for competitive advantage. Biocon Biologics leverages this strategy to commercialize biosimilars across 120+ countries, serving over 6.3 million patients in areas like oncology, immunology, and ophthalmology.
