Burnet Pharmaceuticals appoints OP Singh as CEO and Co MD

Singh is set to drive innovation, cultural transformation, and strategic expansion at Burnet 

OP Singh has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Managing Director of Burnet Pharmaceuticals, marking his return to a company that played a pivotal role in his early career. With decades of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, Singh is set to drive innovation, cultural transformation, and strategic expansion at Burnet.

He aims to cultivate a high-ownership culture, empowering teams to implement bold ideas and contribute to Burnet’s vision of redefining the Indian pharmaceutical landscape with agility and creativity.

Before this role, Singh served as Group CEO at Akums Group, India’s largest contract manufacturing organisation, where he led operational scale and strategic growth. He has also held leadership positions at Cadila Pharmaceuticals as President - Sales and Marketing and spent over 15 years at Zydus Group, managing large business units.

An IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, Singh’s expertise in business strategy and market expansion is expected to propel Burnet Pharmaceuticals into its next phase of growth.
