Cipla has appointed Mr. Shivam Puri as the Chief Executive Officer of One India Business and a member of the Management Council, effective July 1, 2026, bringing over 23 years of leadership experience across both FMCG and healthcare sectors to the role.
Mr. Puri concurrently serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cipla Health Limited, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary focused on consumer healthcare and wellness products, and will continue to lead Cipla Health while taking on the additional responsibility of CEO-One India Business.
Mr. Puri brings expertise in driving innovation, market expansion and operational efficiency to the One India Business, with Cipla Health being amongst the largest OTC/FMWG (Fast Moving Wellness Goods) companies in India and growing rapidly in multiple global markets.
With the appointment, Cipla signals its commitment to strengthening its domestic pharma portfolio while maintaining focus on consumer healthcare growth, leveraging Mr. Puri’s extensive experience in building brands and scaling operations across regulated and non-regulated healthcare segments.
The One India Business represents Cipla’s strategic focus on consolidating its presence in the Indian pharmaceutical market, with Mr. Puri’s dual role expected to create synergies between the company’s pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare operations.
