Dr Nandakumar Jairam: Columbia Asia to get 2 New hospital, Rs 400 Cr investment by 2019

According to news reports Columbia Asia India, will invest Rs 400 Cr to expand its presence in India. "We are planning to open two hospitals in the country by the end of 2019. The investment on this will be over Rs 400 crore", Chairman, CEO and Group Medical Director, Columbia Asia Hospitals, India Dr Nandakumar Jairam told PTI. The two new hospitals are said to come up at Bangaluru and Pune.
An affiliates of Seattle based Columbia Pacific Management (CPM), Columbia Asia operates hospitals in India,  Southeast Asia and Kenya. The group currently operates eleven facilities in India and has presence in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Kolkata, Mysore, Patiala and Pune. The company also operates hospitals in Malaysia (11), Vietnam (3), and Indonesia (3). The Indian management operations are managed from its office in Bangalore and recently the company announced the appointment of Dr. Nandakumar Jairam as their new CEO and  Jasdeep Singh as the new COO.
