The army-run school for children with special needs in Drugmulla village was handed over the school bus
ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, as part of its CSR activity in association with Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast, has donated a school bus to an army-run school for children with special needs in Drugmulla village in the Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir, close to the LOC.
The school bus was handed over by the Chairman of ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, Kishore Masurkar to the head teacher, in the presence of our armed forces.
Masurkar said “Access to education remains a challenge in many remote regions of Kashmir, where children often have to walk long distances to reach their schools. Understanding the importance of reliable and safe transportation, ENTOD has provided a fully equipped school bus to facilitate daily school commutes for children, ensuring they can pursue their education without obstacles”. He further appreciated the tremendous work done by the Indian army to run schools and hospitals in the region and contribute to community building in the border area."
Nikkhil K Masurkar, CEO, ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, stated, "The initiative aligns with our broader mission to support health, education, and overall well-being in underserved communities across India, and is one of many initiatives under ENTOD’s CSR programme, which focuses on improving healthcare, education, and quality of life in disadvantaged regions. At ENTOD, we believe in giving back to society and making a meaningful impact where it matters the most."
