IMT News Desk

The FW500 combines precision, efficiency, and compact design to meet the needs of mid-sized laboratories

FUJIFILM India, a leader in healthcare technology solutions, announced the launch of its FW500 Clinical Chemistry Analyzer strengthens FUJIFILM India’s In-vitro diagnostics portfolio by combining over four decades of dry chemistry expertise with Fujifilm’s Wako globally trusted biochemistry reagents.

The FW500 has been engineered to deliver accuracy, speed, and ease of use, qualities essential for today’s diagnostic laboratories. With the ability to process up to 200 tests per hour, 95 sample positions, and 72 reagent positions, the analyzer offers efficiency in a compact design. Features such as continuous sample loading and temperature-controlled reagents ensure smooth, uninterrupted laboratory operations, making the FW500 an ideal fit for mid-sized labs across India.

Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, said, “At FUJIFILM India, we are committed to delivering innovative products and solutions that embody our Group purpose of ‘Giving Our World More Smiles.’ By blending diverse ideas, unique capabilities, and extraordinary people, we aim to create solutions that bring joy and smiles to the world. Shivani Shah Kadu, National Business Manager, In-vitro Diagnostics, Medical Systems Division, added, “The launch of the FW500 is a defining step in our diagnostics portfolio expansion. By combining Fujifilm’s engineering expertise with the precision of Wako reagents, we are offering laboratories a robust solution that delivers accuracy, efficiency, and adaptability. This launch also reflects our vision to be a total solutions provider in biochemistry, ensuring our customers have access to both dry and wet chemistry platforms under one brand.”

Beyond performance, the FW500 incorporates sustainability and smart connectivity. It uses only 1.5 litres of water per hour and reusable cuvettes to minimize waste. Its intelligent software supports real-time monitoring and remote access, enabling laboratories to enhance productivity while staying connected.

With this launch, FUJIFILM India now offers a comprehensive biochemistry portfolio spanning both dry and wet chemistry platforms, reaffirming its commitment to delivering innovations that empower healthcare professionals and improve access to high-quality diagnostics nationwide.
