FUJIFILM India expands endoscopy solutions portfolio at BRONCHUS 2023

The new radial probe, PB2020-M2, will enhance operability and is designed for more efficient examination

FUJIFILM India announced the expansion of its endoscopy solutions portfolio with the new compact ultrasonic probe system PB2020-M2 at the 3rd Annual conference on Interventional Pulmonology – “BRONCHUS 2023”. The two-day conference at Hyderabad was attended by all leading pulmonologists from 18 countries where FUJIFILM India showcased its comprehensive range of pulmonology solutions through one of its kind “Experience center” at the trade exhibition.

The newly launched, PB2020-M2 compact ultrasonic probe is designed for a more efficient examination to provide real-time ultrasound imaging of peripheral lung lesions. This small and lightweight system is user-friendly and provides high-resolution ultrasonic images. It comes with an outer diameter 1.4-1.9 and it can easily pass through 2 mm working channel bronchoscope.

FUJIFILM India Endoscopy Division also showcased the new slim-line Video Bronchoscope EB-710P, which is a thin endoscope equipped with an exceptionally compact CMOS sensor. The tip is a mere 4.1 mm in diameter, so it may penetrate the periphery of the lung much more easily than a conventional system. In addition, there is a rotation mechanism which allows the user to return the endoscope safely to its original position before the withdrawal. With its extremely small diameter and its rotation function, the innovative EB-710P endoscope system increases the safety and comfort of a bronchoscopy.

Additionally, Dr Nobuyasu Awano, Department of Respiratory Medicine, Japanese Red Cross Medical Center, Tokyo, Japan also delivered a lecture on the new slim line bronchoscope EB-710P and its clinical benefits for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures during the event. The product was launched in presence of Dr Harikishan Gonuguntla, Lead Consultant Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad, along with respectable practitioners from the medical industry including Dr Arjun Khanna, Amritha Hospital, Faridabad, Dr Binil Salam, MVR Cancer Center, Calicut, Dr Yuvarajan, Manakula Vinayagar Hospital Pondicherry, Dr Don Gregory, Father Muller Medical College.
