Global Hospitals Mumbai conducts free vaccination drive for senior citizens

The idea is to address this hesitancy against getting vaccinated

Global Hospitals offered COVID-19 vaccination at no cost to senior citizens living in the vicinity of the hospital. The initiative was to create an opportunity and educate masses about the vaccination – its efficacy, safety and effectiveness to the elderly.

The idea behind the initiative by Global Hospitals – Mumbai is to address this hesitancy against getting vaccinated.

Commenting on this special drive, Dr Vivek Talaulikar, CEO, Global Hospitals, Mumbai says, “The vaccination is the best defence we have against Corona Virus. More the people get vaccinated; the citizens would be in a better position to fight against the severity that is associated with Covid. We wish to take care of those, who have worked hard and have been part of the growth of our nation. Our hospital and medical fraternity at large urge every senior citizen to grasp this opportunity and get themselves vaccinated. It will be idol to continue adhering to guidelines set by authorities to control the spread of the virus by wearing masks, follow social distancing and keep sanitizing oneself and the environment. On World Health Day, we doctors want nothing more than a healthier world and would request all Indians to stay safe by following all corrective norms for their good.”
