Governor of Maharashtra unveils book on medical representatives

Attempts to provide step-by-step guidance to MRs, fresh graduates and aspiring pharma professionals to explore what would make them an indispensable medium for the pharmaceutical industry

Tushar Naik, a pharma professional, recently launched his first book, titled Medical Representative – An Indispensable Medium For The Pharmaceutical Industry. The debutant author has penned the book to help readers take their first step in building a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry. It attempts to provide step-by-step guidance to Medical Representatives (MR), fresh graduates and aspiring pharma professionals to explore what would make them an indispensable medium for the pharmaceutical industry. 

With real-life experiences, along with examples and case studies from doctors, the book promises to effectively equip readers to deal with any hindrances that may come their way in their professional journey towards becoming successful MR. The book is the most updated, comprehensive, real-world field manual on modern-day pharmaceutical sales.

The book was recently unveiled at the Raj Bhavan by the Governor of Maharashtra – Bhagat Singh Koshyari.

“Thousands of young graduates pass out every year but not everyone is fortunate enough to receive the right guidance or may not even know how to begin their professional career. Having spent over three decades in the pharmaceutical industry, I have always felt a sense of gratitude towards my profession. Also simultaneously, I feel that any youngster can rise in their career from a base level MR to reach the top level in their professional journey with a little hand-holding. To reciprocate my learning and to equip MRs, area managers, brand managers, fresh graduates, pharmacy graduates and even young postgraduates with all the possible information they might require, I have written this book. The book will be a valuable compendium to all aspiring professionals who want to make pharmaceuticals their stated profession,” says Naik.
