Govt Proposes Change in Six Months USG Training PNDT Rule

Good news for doctors. Now more students will be able to do the ultrasound diagnostic training at recognized centers. The govt has proposed to change the rule of 1:1 teacher student ratio to 1:4 teacher student ratio. The government of India has notified amendments to six months training in USG for doctors in the provision of the pre-conception and pre-natal diagnostic technique (Prohibition of sex selection) six months training rules 2014. The government is inviting views and suggestions from the stakeholders and general public on the same, which can be sent to the Ministry via email on sopndt-mohfw@nic.in on or before August 14 2018.
