HaystackAnalytics appoints Dr Mahua Kapoor Dasgupta as Director of Medical Affairs (Infectious Diseases)

She has around 18 years of extensive experience

HaystackAnalytics, a Mumbai-based health-tech startup, supported by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, healthcare veterans like Dr Velumani, and private players such as GE Healthcare and Intel India Startup Program, announced the appointment of Dr Mahua Kapoor Dasgupta as Director of Medical Affairs (Infectious Diseases).

Dr Dasgupta has a proven track record of surpassing diverse roles and positions in the healthcare industry. She has most recently served as the Consultant Microbiologist, Infection Control & Quality Head, Bhagirathi Neotia Woman & Child Care Centre, New Town, Kolkata. She has been a life member of the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists., the Academy of Clinical Microbiologists, the Hospital Infection Control Society of India, Executive Member of the Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety Forum, Kolkata. 

She has around 18 years of extensive experience ranging from being an ICU Resident medical officer at a reputed multispecialty hospital to a senior research scientist for setting the VRDL network under ICMR to joining as a Senior Medical Officer in a PSU to heading infection control and quality of a super-speciality hospital. Her specialisations will help the organization to cater to a wider audience in the department of infectious diseases.
