EBITDA for Q3 FY21 was at Rs 437 million
HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG) announced its financial results for the quarter (Q3) and nine months (YTD) ended December 31, 2020, for the fiscal year (FY21).
The consolidated income from operations (Revenue) was Rs 2,740 million as compared to Rs 2,779 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, reflecting a year-on-year decline of 1.4 per cent and quarter-on-quarter growth of 10.5 per cent.
Consolidated profit before depreciation and amortisation, finance costs, exceptional items and taxes (EBITDA) was Rs 437 million, as compared to Rs 482 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a decline of 9.4 per cent year-on-year and a growth of 28.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter.
The consolidated profit before other income, depreciation and amortisation, finance costs, exceptional items and taxes (Operating EBITDA), was Rs 378 million, as compared to Rs 457 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a decline of 17.3 per cent year-on-year and a growth of 26 per cent quarter-on-quarter.
Operating EBITDA for existing centres was Rs 399 million, a growth of 21.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter, reflecting an Operating EBITDA margin of 18.2 per cent. New Center loss was Rs 21 million, as compared to a loss of Rs 57 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a reduction of 63.2 per cent year-on-year and 27.6 per cent quarter-on-quarter.
