HEAL Foundation, Mylan Pharmaceuticals launch India Fights TB' campaign in Maharashtra

Subject matter expert interviews will feature prominent personalities discussing TB prevention and treatment, further amplifying the message

HEAL Foundation, in collaboration with Mylan Pharmaceuticals (a Viatris company), has launched the India Fights TB campaign in Maharashtra targeting Pune Rural and Dharashiv district.

The multi-channel campaign activities are designed to support the local population using culturally aligned methods to engage and educate. Nukkad Nataks, a traditional form of street theatre, will dramatize TB-related issues, radio activations will broadcast informative content to reach a wider audience. Additionally, subject matter expert interviews will feature prominent personalities discussing TB prevention and treatment, further amplifying the message.

Dr Swadeep Srivastava, Founder, HEAL Foundation, said, "Our mission is to ensure that every individual, regardless of their geographical location, has access to critical information about tuberculosis (TB). Through engaging activities like Nukkad Nataks, impactful radio activations, and our knowledge portal www.indiafightstb.com, we aim to break down the barriers to knowledge and foster a more informed and proactive community."
