Healthcare Logistics Startup TEN Secures Rs 1.7 Cr in Pre-Seed Funding to Scale Operations

Chithra Prakash

Total Emergency Network (TEN), a healthcare logistics startup, has successfully raised Rs 1.7 crore ($195 K) in a pre-seed funding round. According to Business Standard, the investment comes from existing backers, including Global Innovation Hub (GIH) and key angel investors, reinforcing confidence in the company’s mission to revolutionise emergency medical response.

About TEN

TEN specialises in hyperlocal medical logistics, providing swift and efficient ambulance services, air and train ambulances, and healthcare professional support. Since its inception in 2022, the company has impacted over 8,500 lives, ensuring critical patients receive timely care within the golden hour. With operations currently spanning Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune, TEN is now gearing up for expansion into new regions across India.

Utilisation of Funds

The fresh infusion of capital will primarily be allocated to technological advancements aimed at improving patient and stakeholder experiences. Additionally, the funding will support geographical expansion, allowing the company to service a wider range of pin codes and enhance accessibility for those in urgent need.

Steady Growth and Market Demand

As reported by Business Standard, TEN has been experiencing steady month-on-month growth, demonstrating increasing demand for its services. While the need for emergency medical logistics is widespread across the country, resource and capital limitations have restricted coverage to select locations. This latest round of funding is set to address these challenges, enabling a more comprehensive network of emergency services.

Comprehensive Service Offerings

Beyond ambulance services, TEN offers pre- and post-hospital transfers for critical patients, air cargo transport for medical needs (both domestic and international), and cost-effective healthcare packages for chemotherapy, dialysis, and routine medical visits. The startup aims to develop a sustainable and scalable business model that integrates cutting-edge technology with a vast ambulance network to ensure timely and efficient emergency response.

Future Outlook

Business Standard highlighted that with ambitious plans for the future, TEN is poised to transform healthcare logistics in India, setting new benchmarks for emergency response and accessibility. Stay tuned as the company continues its journey of innovation and expansion.
