HealthPlix hires senior leaders

Names two new leads for Growth Strategy and Marketing; Prashant Parmar and Burhanuddin Pithawala will focus on scaling HealthPlix’s user base

HealthPlix, a provider of EMR health technology in India has appointed Prashant Parmar as Head of Growth and Burhanuddin Pithawala as Growth Marketing Lead in India. These two appointments are a step forward for HealthPlix, as it prepares for its next phase of growth bringing leadership that has deep expertise in scale-up in strong Indian start-ups. The company believes that these core capabilities along with its superior EMR Product would continue to help it serve more doctors, and lead as India’s largest Electronic Medical Records Platform.

Through its assistive-AI powered EMR software, HealthPlix empowers doctors to drive better health outcomes for their patients by providing clinical decision support at the point of care. Currently, 12 million patients across India have been treated through the HealthPlix EMR platform by doctors practising across 16 specialities. 

Speaking on these appointments, Sandeep Gudibanda, CEO and Co-Founder – HealthPlix said, “HealthPlix has established itself as a major player in recent times owing to the technologically advanced EMR service. Prashant Parmar, who will be leading the Growth strategy at HealthPlix comes with over 15 years of varied experience in driving growth and managing sales. In his previous role, he was the Co-Founder of Simplilearn, a leading global EdTech player where he was leading sales & operations across verticals and geographies including India and the US.

Burhanuddin Pithawala, who joined as the Growth Marketing lead, will be responsible for the overall brand strategy, communications, and growth marketing for the company. Previously, he has held various leadership roles in leading start-ups over the last 10 years. Most notably, he was instrumental in setting up the Growth Marketing function at OYO, being responsible for a strong consumer demand engine that helped in their phenomenal growth. At HealthPlix, Burhan is excited to focus on scaling growth for the company, “I believe that the core of any successful start-up is two things – great product and great distribution. I am thrilled to be part of this team which offers a strong product that is already being appreciated by the doctors and building trust with the brand,” added Pithawala.
