HOSMAChas announced the successful completion and inauguration of the Ashoka Women & Children Hospital, the newest addition to the Ashoka Health City campus in Nashik. The 115-bed, 80,000 sq. ft. facility was inaugurated on 12 July as part of a joint ceremony for Ashoka Health City and Ashoka Women & Children Hospital marking a significant step in strengthening specialised maternal and paediatric healthcare infrastructure in the region.

Ashoka Women & Children Hospital is a purpose-built facility designed as a turnkey architectural and interior project by HOSMAC, with a strong emphasis on healing environments, family-centred care and advanced neonatal and paediatric services. The hospital complements the existing Ashoka Medicover Hospital, a multi-specialty tertiary care centre, and Ashoka CCA Hospital, a dedicated oncology facility, both also planned and designed by HOSMAC, together forming an integrated health city offering comprehensive care under one roof.

Commenting on the project, Dr. Vivek Desai, Managing Director and Founder, HOSMAC, said: “At HOSMAC, we believe healthcare infrastructure should do more than support clinical excellence, it should also foster comfort, confidence, and healing. With Ashoka Women & Children Hospital, our focus was on creating a space that responds to the emotional and functional needs of children, mothers, caregivers, and healthcare professionals alike. Every design element was carefully planned to make the hospital experience more reassuring and intuitive. We are grateful to the Ashoka Group for entrusting us with yet another milestone project as we continue our mission of Perfecting Healthcare.”

The hospital’s interiors reflect HOSMAC’s commitment to specialised environments tailored to mothers, children and families, with floors themed around Den, Earth, Mountains, Space and Rainbow. Distinct colour palettes, playful graphics, intuitive wayfinding and child-friendly design elements have been consciously integrated to reduce anxiety, enhance comfort and create a welcoming experience for young patients and their caregivers, aligning with HOSMAC’s philosophy of healthcare spaces that actively support the healing journey.

This project further deepens HOSMAC’s long-standing collaboration with the Ashoka Group. Building on the successful planning and design of Ashoka Medicover Hospital and Ashoka CCA Hospital, the Ashoka Women & Children Hospital strengthens the integrated healthcare ecosystem envisioned for Nashik, offering a continuum of care that spans tertiary multi-specialty services, oncology and specialised women and children’s health within a single, thoughtfully designed campus.
