The new centre represents a significant advancement in respiratory care infrastructure
HOSMAC, a hospital planning, design, and management consultancy, has successfully designed and developed Cipla’s Breathfree Lung Wellness Centre in Delhi, a 3,500 sq ft facility offering a one-stop destination for comprehensive lung diagnostics and wellness services. Cipla partnered with HOSMAC to bring this vision to life through a complete scope encompassing Interior Design, MEP Design, and Construction.
The new centre represents a significant advancement in respiratory care infrastructure, enabling patients to access integrated diagnostic and wellness solutions in an environment engineered for comfort and clinical efficiency.
It is also a notable example of adaptive reuse in healthcare architecture. HOSMAC converted an existing car showroom into a fully functional clinical facility, an undertaking that required meticulous planning, structural re-evaluation, and a fresh design approach. Ensuring structural integrity was paramount, with reinforcement measures implemented before the commencement of fit-out works.
Speaking about the project, Dr Vivek Desai, Founder and Managing Director, HOSMAC, said “This project is a testament to what purposeful design can achieve. Transforming a former car showroom into a state-of-the-art lung wellness centre showcases HOSMAC’s commitment to innovation in healthcare architecture. We are proud to support Cipla’s vision in creating accessible and patient-friendly respiratory care spaces.”
