IIPH-Delhi, designated as a Resource Centre for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) by the Department of Health Research, recently organised its inaugural state-level workshop at the India International Centre, New Delhi.
IIPH-Delhi faculty members and eminent speakers delivered insightful sessions and discussions to raise awareness among academicians, researchers, and policymakers from Delhi about the foundational principles of HTA and its essential role in evidence-informed policymaking.
The event was graced by distinguished speakers, including Dr Kavita Rajasekar, Scientist-F at the HTAIn Office; Prof Sanjay Zodpey, President- PHFI; Prof Rajinder K Dhamija, Director- Institute of Human Behavioral & Allied Sciences; Prof Kamran Farooque, Director-AIIMS Trauma Centre, Delhi; Dr Manpreet Bhalla, Director -National Institute of Tuberculosis & Allied Sciences and Dr Preeti Kumar, Director-IIPH Delhi.
