India’s First Global Pathology Laboratory Consortium to be Launched in B’lor

Dr GSK Velu is at the forefront of a global collaboration aimed at identifying new ways to prevent and treat a range of diseases. Through an international alliance between India, Sri Lanka, UAE and South Africa India’s first global pathology laboratory consortium will take shape and will be launched at Bangalore in the first week of October.

Built on the pillars of ethics and technology with a vision to make healthcare accessible and affordable for the common man, this international consortium will bring together 5 leading pathology brands, 4 nations, 3 reference laboratories and over 2 centuries of diagnostic expertise.

The new entity will be launched in the presence of Minister of State for Health and family Welfare, India; Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous medicine, of Sri Lanka; Medical Director of Dubai Health Authority, UAE and Director, CAPRISA & Pro Vice – chancellor at the university  of  KwaZulu- Natal in Durban, South Africa.

Dr. Velu is Chairman and Managing Director, Trivitron Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., an Indian medical technology company; Founder and Chairman of Maxivision Eye Care Hospitals and Founder and Director, Apollo White Dental & Apollo Dialysis and Anchor Investor at Stakeboat Capital, Private Equity Fund.
