Infosys-backed 4baseCare raises ₹128 crore to scale AI-powered cancer testing platform OncoTwin globally, expanding genomics labs across Middle East, Asia

Bengaluru-based precision oncology startup 4baseCare has raised ₹128 crore in its ongoing Series B funding round to expand its hospital-linked genomics laboratory network globally and scale its AI-powered precision oncology platform, OncoTwin.

The latest funding round, which follows a first close of ₹90 crore co-led by Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi with participation from existing investor Yali Capital, will enable the company to make precision oncology available to cancer patients across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Central Asia.

The company is building population-specific genomic data and AI platforms to close the data diversity gap in cancer care and make advanced diagnostics more accessible globally, particularly for South Asian populations.

Its flagship solution, OncoTwin, is an AI-driven clinical decision support platform that continuously learns from real-world clinico-genomic data to help oncologists make faster, more informed treatment decisions for cancer patients.

In March 2025, 4baseCare’s genomics laboratory in Dubai Science Park achieved CAP (College of American Pathologists) accreditation, ensuring global standards of quality and precision in genomic profiling for cancer patients in the UAE and the Middle East.

The company’s first South Asian population-specific cancer gene panel enables better personalized cancer treatment and improved patient outcomes by analyzing multiple genes for cancer-associated mutations.

CEO and co-founder Hitesh Goswami said, “From 2025 to 2035, cancer care will fundamentally change driven by data,” marking this investment as a key phase in the company’s growth as it strengthens OncoTwin as an AI-driven platform.

4baseCare is targeting ₹100 crore revenue in the next 12 to 18 months, having closed fiscal 2025 with over ₹35 crore in revenue.

The startup is pioneering advanced genomics combined with next-generation digital health technologies to personalise cancer care and improve adoption of genomic testing in oncology treatment across Asia.
