Jalandhar-based NHS Hospital starts free of cost dialysis
The campaign is part of the hospital’s CSR initiative
Multi-specialty hospital NHS Hospital, Jalandhar has started free of cost dialysis facility for patients as a part of their CSR initiative. The campaign started with Deputy commissioner Jalandhar, Ghanshyam Thori inaugurating the dialysis unit at Nhs Hospital.
The Director of the hospital, Dr Shubhang Aggarwal explained that kidney diseases are on the rise and people suffer a big financial burden if dialysis becomes a routine for them. The average cost of dialysis is between Rs 2500-Rs3000 in a private hospital but we will be offering it free of cost.
