KIMS Hospitals, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, has inaugurated the KIMS RENOVA Oncology Institute, a comprehensive cancer care centre designed to deliver advanced, integrated, and patient-centric oncology services.
Along with Samrohana Cancer Foundation, the institute also announced the “134 Free Screening Camp Pledge”, inspired by the legacy of former India cricketer Mr. VVS Laxman, who represented the country in 134 Test matches. Under the initiative, 134 free awareness and screening camps will be conducted for underserved communities, with a focus on prevention, awareness, and early diagnosis in the fight against cancer.
The inauguration also featured a fireside chat with Mr. VVS Laxman and senior experts from KIMS Hospitals, adding a community-focused element to the launch.
The KIMS RENOVA Oncology Institute, in association with KIMS MACS OncoSurgery, has been positioned as a comprehensive oncology ecosystem bringing together expertise in surgical oncology, robotic surgery, medical oncology, and multidisciplinary cancer care.
