The certification validates the hospital’s adherence to the stringent criteria
Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital's dedicated Endometriosis Clinic has been officially recognised and certified by the European Endometriosis League (EEL), through the EuroEndoCert programme. The certification validates the hospital’s adherence to the stringent criteria outlined in the German National “Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Endometriosis.”
Dr Anshumala Shukla-Kulkarni, Head, Minimally Invasive Gynaecology, Gynaecology Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital said, “This certification is a significant milestone in our mission to transform endometriosis care in India. Endometriosis is a complex, chronic condition that often goes undiagnosed for years, leading to incomplete treatments and preventable suffering. We have already been doing substantial work to raise more focus and awareness about endometriosis. Our clinic offers access to specialists trained specifically in managing endometriosis, ensuring a comprehensive, streamlined approach to diagnosis and treatment. It validates our multidisciplinary, patient-centric approach, which has been a hallmark of our clinic and this validation motivates us to continue advancing our knowledge and protocols, providing hope and improved quality of life for our patients.”
Dr Santosh Shetty, CEO and Executive Director, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, commented, “This recognition is not just a milestone for us, but a call to action for healthcare providers across the country to dedicate more resources and attention to women’s health, particularly conditions like endometriosis that have long been overlooked. Kokilaben Hospital's commitment to women’s healthcare goes beyond treatment. Our specialised clinic will focus on raising awareness about endometriosis, advocating for early diagnosis, and providing comprehensive support to women and their families.”
