Expands diagnostics business footprint in East India
Lupin Diagnostics has launched its first reference laboratory in Ranchi. The new reference laboratory at Ranchi is equipped to conduct a broad spectrum of routine and specialised tests in the fields of molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics, flow cytometry, histopathology, cytology, microbiology, serology, haematology, immunology, and routine biochemistry.
Lupin Diagnostics will equip doctors with accurate diagnoses in the patient journey by leveraging innovative technologies for improved patient care. People in Jharkhand can now avail preventive health check-ups, home collection and testing centres at 10 locations.
Ravindra Kumar, Vice President and Head – Lupin Diagnostics said, “The launch of our Reference Laboratory in Ranchi is a step forward to provide high-standard diagnostics to enable doctors to diagnose patient health accurately, make safer interventions and overall, improve patient outcomes.”

Our personalised and interactive smart reports allow patients and doctors to gain insight into historical trends in health parameters, assisting doctors in making evidence-based treatment decisions,” he added.
Lupin Diagnostics has established a reference laboratory in Ranchi, Jharkhand following the establishment of processing laboratories in Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar. Currently, Lupin Diagnostics has over 100 LupiMitra (Lupin’s franchise collection centres) already enrolled for its East India operations.
