Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road, Bengaluru appoints Dr Prasanna KS as Consultant – Medical Gastroenterology

Dr Prasanna completed his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davanagere (1998), followed by an MD in General Medicine (2002) and a DM in Gastroenterology from SGPGI, Lucknow (2007)

Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road, Bengaluru, has appointed Dr Prasanna KS as Consultant – Medical Gastroenterology. With over two decades of extensive experience in diagnosing and treating complex gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders, Dr Prasanna brings exceptional clinical and academic expertise to the department. His proficiency in advanced endoscopic techniques, including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, EUS, ERCP, and manometry, strengthens the hospital’s commitment to providing comprehensive and precise gastroenterological care.

Dr Prasanna completed his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davanagere (1998), followed by an MD in General Medicine (2002) and a DM in Gastroenterology from SGPGI, Lucknow (2007). His academic journey and training at some of India’s most reputed institutions, including Apollo Indraprastha Hospital, Delhi, and KMC, Manipal, have equipped him with deep expertise across a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions such as liver diseases, pancreatic disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, and functional GI disorders.
