MaxiVision forms JV with Aswini Netralayam

To create premier eye care chain in Guntur, Prakasam districts

Hyderabad-based MaxiVision Super Specialty eye hospitals and Narasaraopet (Guntur District)-based Aswini Netralayam, of Dr AAV Ramalinga Reddy, have entered into a Joint Venture to create a super speciality eye care chain in various towns, in coastal Andhra Pradesh, with state-of-the-art technology in eye care affordable to all economic segments.

The new JV merged with Maxivision Super Specialty Eye Hospitals, will be known as Maxivision Dr Ramalinga Reddy Eye Hospitals, and will commence operations from December 2021.

The hospital of DrRamalinga Reddy will now expand with joint venture brand, to Macherla and Guntur from December 2021, and other potential towns of Prakasam districts post-April 2022.

Dr GSK Velu, Chairman, MaxiVision Super Speciality Eye hospitals group said, “With these new joint ventures MaxiVision has emerged as an undisputed leader in the eye care sector in both the Telugu states i.e Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and aims high to be the second-largest eye care services provider in India by 2022. We are happy to forge an alliance with Aswini Netralayam Dr AAV Ramalinga Reddy, a leading eye care practitioner, in the district of Guntur, and joined hands to this enjoinse. We target MaxiVision to be the second-largest eye care chain in India, with around 100 hospitals, with 600 crores top line, over 400 doctors, and super specialists.”

Maxivision will continue its expansion plan to Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Orissa in 2022, and redefine the competitive landscape. The joint venture model with Dr Sharat in Warangal has grown three times ever since its inception and both promoters have gained reputation and wealth with the growth-oriented business model.

Dr Kasu Prasad Reddy, Founder Mentor, Co-Chairman, MaxiVision Super Speciality Eye hospitals group said, “The joint Venture model of the company has opened a barrage of possibilities to practice expansion to various doctors who own large hospitals but are not able to justify or balance both clinical practice and enterprise growth.
