The platform, named BuddyCare, aims to advance the nation’s ambitious goal of 'Insurance for All by 2047'
MediBuddy has launched India Health Care Collaborators (IHCC), a networking platform wherein all stakeholders—insurance companies, intermediaries, and providers—come together to improve access to a fraud-resilient cashless network for primary healthcare.
The platform, named BuddyCare, aims to advance the nation’s ambitious goal of 'Insurance for All by 2047' and aligns healthcare delivery with innovation and regulatory advancements such as the forthcoming Insurance Amendment Bill.
BuddyCare is a plug-and-play solution for insurers, from comprehensive pre-policy issuance services and real-time risk quantification capabilities to post-policy service delivery for health and wellness. Through strategic partnerships with insurance companies, MediBuddy has developed sophisticated intelligence frameworks for risk management, enabling insurers to integrate with fraud-resilient Outpatient Department (OPD) systems seamlessly.
Satish Kannan, Co-founder and CEO, MediBuddy, said, “The launch of IHCC represents a pivotal milestone in our journey to redefine healthcare delivery in India. By bringing together innovation, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to quality, we are laying the groundwork for a future where healthcare is universally accessible, cashless, and seamlessly integrated with insurance. This initiative is not just about addressing today’s challenges; it’s about building a resilient and inclusive ecosystem that supports the health and well-being of every individual, aligning with the national vision of 'Insurance for All by 2047.”
