Medicover Hospital, Navi Mumbai, has launched a comprehensive 24×7 stroke unit designed to deliver immediate and specialised care for stroke emergencies. Recognising that time is brain, the unit is equipped with rapid CT/MRI imaging, thrombolysis and thrombectomy capabilities, neuro-ICU support, and a trained multidisciplinary stroke team available around the clock. This initiative aims to improve outcomes for patients suffering from stroke in Navi Mumbai, Panvel and neighbouring areas.
IPS and Joint Commissioner of Police for Navi Mumbai Sanjay Yenpure, who was the Chief Guest underscored the importance of timely action in stroke management.
