Medyseva flags off doctor consortium model in MP

IMT News Desk

Expands rural health access with phygital model

Medyseva has launched its first flagship Doctor’s Consortium model - MedySwaasth. Under this, Medyseva Narmada Consortium is an initiative started in Madhya Pradesh, marking a significant step toward addressing the acute shortage of healthcare professionals in rural India.

Medyseva’s innovative ‘phygital’ telemedicine model is designed to bridge this gap by combining digital consultations with in-person care, making quality healthcare more accessible and affordable.

The Medyseva Narmada Consortium has been introduced across key villages in Madhya Pradesh, including Ashta, Khategaon, Sonkatch, Tarana, and Badnagar. These villages, with populations ranging from 1.7 lakh to over 2.6 lakh residents, are located 72 km to 120 km from Indore, emphasizing the urgent need for reliable medical services.

Founded by Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal and Rachita Kasliwal, Medyseva operates on a hybrid healthcare model that integrates digital consultations with on-ground support from trained nurses and paramedics.

Through its mobile app, rural patients can consult with over 1,000 doctors  across 20 medical specialties, enabling faster diagnosis and treatment. The platform also collaborates with 25 private hospitals and five medical colleges, ensuring access to specialist referrals and advanced care.

Dr Vishesh Kasliwal, Founder & CEO, Medyseva, emphasised the importance of this initiative, stating, “The launch of our flagship Doctor’s Consortium in Madhya Pradesh is a game-changer for rural healthcare. By connecting our expert doctors with underserved communities, we are creating a system where no one is left behind. Medyseva’s 200+ satellite clinics across 10 states are ensuring expert consultations and patient satisfaction along with a steady supply of essential medicines. Nurses conduct preliminary health assessments—checking blood pressure, oxygen levels, and other vitals—before connecting patients to doctors for teleconsultations. In addition to treatment, Medyseva promotes preventive healthcare through its Medymate initiative, which organises health camps and community awareness programmes and increases medicine accessibility even in remote areas with an IoT-powered drug vending machine - Medyvend."

Dr Vasundhara Shukla, COO, Medyseva further added, "Medyseva has ambitious plans to expand its satellite clinics fivefold in the next couple of years, ensuring that millions of rural Indians gain access to reliable healthcare. By leveraging technology, strategic partnerships, and an inclusive healthcare approach, Medyseva is set to democratise and revolutionise rural healthcare delivery across India."
