MIC Electronics’ MICK Digital partners with AMTZ to expand distribution of indigenous medical devices across India’s healthcare sector.

MIC Electronics Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, MICK Digital India Limited, has been empanelled as an authorised channel partner of the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), marking a significant step in its expansion in healthcare technology. The partnership strengthens MICK Digital’s presence in the medical devices segment and is expected to widen access to indigenously manufactured healthcare equipment across India.

As an authorised partner, MICK Digital will market, distribute, and support AMTZ-manufactured medical devices and healthcare equipment for hospitals, healthcare institutions, and government healthcare programmes nationwide. The company will also be eligible to participate in government procurement opportunities through platforms such as GeM, the National Health Mission (NHM), and state health missions.

Under the arrangement, MICK Digital will distribute a broad range of healthcare technologies, including critical care equipment such as ventilators, patient monitors, and ICU systems; dialysis and renal care solutions; surgical and operating theatre equipment; diagnostic imaging and laboratory systems; hospital infrastructure products; and medical consumables.

The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between indigenous manufacturing and the rising demand for advanced healthcare infrastructure. By combining AMTZ’s manufacturing ecosystem with MICK Digital’s distribution and engineering capabilities, the partnership is expected to serve a wide network of customers, including government district hospitals, medical colleges, community and primary health centres, private hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic laboratories, imaging centres, defence healthcare establishments, and corporate hospital chains.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Siva Ram A, on behalf of MICK Digital India Limited, said: “We are honoured to be empanelled as an authorised Channel Partner of AMTZ India’s premier medical devices manufacturing hub and a testament to what domestic ingenuity can achieve. This partnership marks a defining step in MICK Digital’s journey into the healthcare sector. Our vision is to ensure that the best of Indian-made medical technology reaches not just large hospitals in metros, but also district hospitals, community health centres, and healthcare institutions in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across the country. Together with AMTZ, we are committed to contributing meaningfully to a self-reliant, accessible, and world-class Indian healthcare ecosystem.”

MICK Digital’s entry into healthcare builds on the foundation of its parent company, MIC Electronics Limited, a Hyderabad-headquartered electronics manufacturer with more than 36 years of engineering and manufacturing experience. Incorporated in 2024, MICK Digital serves as the group’s dedicated commercial and solutions subsidiary, with operations spanning Indian Railways, Electronics Manufacturing Services, medical electronics distribution, and LED lighting solutions.
