Narayana Health City Inaugurates its Holistic Rehabilitation Centre

In line with its vision to provide patients with world- class facilities, Narayana Health City today launched a dedicated holistic rehabilitation centre at its premises. The centre was inaugurated by Mr BK Venkatesh Prasad, Former Indian Cricketer and Dr Devi Prasad Shetty, Chairman & Executive Director, Narayana Health. Powered by advanced technologies and experienced specialists, the centre will provide comprehensive rehabilitation therapies for patients who underwent surgeries as well as for those suffering from chronic medical conditions. The state-of-the-art centre will use virtual reality to assess and treat balance disorders. The centre is also equipped with advanced computer-guided movement rehabilitation facilities. As a holistic centre, it will offer specialised therapies for back pain, knee pain, neck pain, arthritis, neuro disorders, post operative rehabilitation, shoulder pain, slipped disc, spondylitis and sports injuries.  The centre will provide gait training for musculoskeletal disorders, movement disorders, and Joint replacement patients (hip, knee, shoulder etc). Functional electrical stimulation (FES), paediatric neuro-rehabilitation and yoga therapy are also offered at the advanced holistic rehabilitation centre.
