OneSource Specialty Pharma Limited and Formycon AG have announced a strategic manufacturing partnership for biosimilars, bringing together Formycon’s biosimilar development expertise and OneSource’s integrated biologics manufacturing capabilities to support global markets. Under the agreement, OneSource will serve as a strategic manufacturing partner for Formycon and provide both drug substance and drug product manufacturing from its biologics facility in Bengaluru.
The collaboration is intended to strengthen global access to biosimilars through reliable, high-quality and scalable manufacturing. OneSource said its integrated biologics platform, spanning cell line development through commercial fill-finish, combined with five manufacturing facilities approved by major global regulators, including the US FDA and EMA, positions the company to deliver a sustainable and cost-effective manufacturing model for biosimilar programmes.
Formycon brings an established track record in biosimilar development and commercialisation, along with a growing pipeline of products. OneSource complements this with experience across biologics, sterile injectables and drug-device combinations, creating a partnership aimed at supporting the long-term supply needs of biosimilar therapies in international markets.
