P-Cure and ARISTION to Build India’s First Compact Proton Therapy Network

Partnership positioned as the foundation of a national network aimed at making high-precision proton and ion treatment accessible to a much wider population.

Israeli medical technology company P-Cure Ltd and Indian healthcare company ARISTION Proton Center Private Limited today announced the signing of a binding agreement to deploy P-Cure’s compact, synchrotron-based proton therapy systems in India. ARISTION plans a long-term investment of approximately ₹1,900 crore to build dedicated proton therapy infrastructure across the country.

The first centre will be established at Sentient Health City, Bengaluru — ARISTION’s flagship 660-bed quaternary campus built around integrated artificial intelligence and augmented care solutions — followed by centres in Kochi and a third major metropolitan city. Together, the three centres form the initial phase of a wider national proton therapy network. For the Kochi centre, ARISTION is actively seeking a joint venture partner, while evaluation of locations and partners for the third proton centre is underway.

The companies describe the agreement as far more than an equipment installation. It is a long-term, deeply integrated partnership that combines P-Cure’s proton therapy technology with ARISTION’s clinical and operational leadership, with a single stated aim: to bring proton & ion precision treatment within the physical, geographic, and financial reach of ordinary Indian families.

Across the network, care will be built on an integrated AI and augmented intelligence layer, with Surgy.health — a new-age AI operational layer for hospitals — as the AI technology partner for the ARISTION group, spanning hospital operations, clinical workflows, and patient experience.

Conventional proton therapy facilities typically demand vast infrastructure footprints and heavy capital expenditure — costs that are ultimately passed on to patients. P-Cure’s ultracompact, synchrotron-based system is engineered around a dramatically smaller footprint and materially lower operating costs, with no compromise on clinical capability.

Dr Lohith G Reddy, CMD & Radiation Oncologist, ARISTION Proton Center, said, “India already delivers world-class medical care. What has been missing is proton & ion precision treatment at the scale a nation of 1.4 billion deserves — and that is the opportunity this partnership unlocks. P-Cure’s compact system gives us the economics to build not one showpiece facility but a national network, delivering the world’s most advanced radiation therapy at a cost structure Indian patients can actually access. Sentient Health City in Bengaluru is the first of three centres — and the platform for what comes next.”

Dr Michael Marash, Chief Executive Officer of P-Cure, further added, “India represents one of the most important growth frontiers for proton therapy, and this agreement is a milestone for P-Cure as we bring our technology to the country for the first time. Our ultracompact system was built precisely for markets like India, where excellent economics — both at setup and in ongoing operations — have to go hand in hand with uncompromised clinical performance and the treatment capacity a national population demands. ARISTION shares that vision, and together we are laying the foundation for a scalable, multi-site proton therapy presence in India that also serves as a platform for future technology deployments, starting with Bengaluru and extending to Kochi and beyond.”

The agreement marks the first deployment of P-Cure’s ultracompact proton therapy system in India. The planned investment is intended to fund an integrated network of centres rather than standalone machine installations, with affordability and geographic access positioned at the centre of the model.
