Mr. Chakravarthi AVPS, Chairman and Managing Director of Ecobliss India Private Limited, has earned international acclaim for his efforts in bolstering India’s global pharmaceutical standing and championing patient-focused healthcare strategies. At a ceremony held Tuesday evening at the Pan Pacific Singapore, he was presented with the CMO Asia Business Leadership & Excellence Award in the category of Asia Business Leader of the Year – Indian Pharma.

The annual award honors figures driving industry advancement across the Asia-Pacific region. Chakravarthi shared the distinction alongside prominent regional executives, including Dr. Anne Phey (Founder & CEO, The School of Leadership), Rohit Gandhi (Group CEO, APAR Technologies Singapore), Munas van Boonstra (APAC Managing Director, TLC Worldwide), Charu Sethi (OpenRouter), and Dr. Tarita Shankar (Chairperson and President Designate, Indira University).

The formal citation commended Chakravarthi for his outstanding leadership in championing Indian pharmaceutical capabilities on global platforms, promoting patient-centric healthcare solutions, encouraging responsible pharmaceutical packaging, and building international collaborations that enhance trust in Indian healthcare.

For over last twenty-five years, Chakravarthi has frequently represented India at global healthcare, packaging, and pharmaceutical conferences, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to high quality, innovation, and affordable medicine. Under his stewardship, Ecobliss India has become a key player in medication-adherence packaging and patient-oriented designs—an area vital to minimizing prescription errors and boosting patient outcomes.

Reflecting on the honor, Chakravarthi dedicated the recognition to the broader Indian pharmaceutical community, emphasizing that India’s role has expanded far beyond manufacturing to becoming a trusted global partner. He noted that healthcare achieves true impact when treatment adherence is simplified, highlighting how smart packaging directly supports patient safety and better health outcomes. He further stressed that cross-border partnerships across government, academia, and industry remain essential to accelerating worldwide medical progress.

Chakravarthi remains an active voice across key regulatory and industry organizations, including FOPE, FABA, Pharmexcil, IPA, CII, FTCCI, INBA, LSSSDC, WPO, and IIP. Through these entities, he continues to promote international tie-ups while advancing India’s reputation for manufacturing excellence. This recognition comes as the Indian pharmaceutical sector extends its global reach, solidifying its place as a cornerstone of dependable, high-quality healthcare and sustainable patient solutions worldwide.
