Plaksha University appoints Dr Ravi Jasuja as Indegene Chair for Digital Health

Dr Jasuja also serves as Director of Translational Research and Discovery, Research Program in Men’s Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a world-class academic medical centre based in Boston, MassachusettsPlaksha University, a new-age university reimagining technology education and research in India with cutting-edge technology programmes, has announced the appointment of Dr Ravi Jasuja as Indegene Chair for Digital Health.This isa collaborative initiative between Plaksha University and Indegene to introduce quality education in the health-tech space.Indegene is a digital-first, life sciences commercialisation company, with a clientele that includes 19 of the world’s top 20 biopharma organisations, and many midsize and emerging biopharma, biotech, and medical devices firms.Dr Jasuja also serves as Director of Translational Research and Discovery, Research Program in Men’s Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a world-class academic medical centre based in Boston, Massachusetts. Over the past two decades, he has made major contributions to science at the interface of engineering and biophysics. He will be Advisor for the Indegene Digital Health initiative with students at Plaksha, and help bring an independent, academic perspective to improve the healthcare ecosystem."Plaksha and Indegene have joined hands to offer students the best of its kind tech education in the healthcare space. He was trained as a Belfer Fellow, Biophysics/Physiology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Jasuja holds a BTech degree from IIT Delhi and a PhD degree from the University of Hawaii.
