Iswarya Hospital, a 400+ bedded super-speciality hospital has appointed Prof Dr S Rajasundaram, a surgical oncologist, as the Chief Executive Officer and Director, Oncology & Head of Department, Surgical Oncology at Iswarya Hospital, OMR, Chennai.

Dr Rajasundaram is a distinguished surgical oncologist with over 31 years of expertise, and he has performed over 25000 major surgeries, specialising in complex head and neck surgeries with microvascular reconstruction, laparoscopic and Robotic GI & Gynaec-Onco procedures, and advanced breast cancer surgeries, including onco-plastic reconstruction and sentinel lymph node biopsy.

Dr Rajasundaram has performed over 100+ robot-assisted cancer surgeries in a year. He has been instrumental in initiating clinical programs such as the DNB Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, tumour boards, and surgical oncology courses at various esteemed institutions across India.
