The company plans to add ~1000 beds in the cities of Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, National Capital Region and Tier-II cities of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu over the next five years

Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML) announced the commencement of its latest hospital, with 60 beds, at Himayat Nagar, Hyderabad. This is Rainbow’s 8th hospital in Hyderabad and is strategically located in the densely populated and commercially important area of central Hyderabad. This will further strengthen the company’s presence with a combined 890 beds in the city.

The new hospital has been envisaged as a spoke hospital and will form an important part of the Rainbow’s Hub and Spoke network in Hyderabad. This hospital will provide comprehensive paediatric and obstetrics services, which include consultant-led 24/7 emergency care in paediatrics and obstetrics, outpatient services and level 3 neonatal and pediatric intensive care services.

RCML is working incessantly to strengthen its service offerings to achieve its goal of providing quality paediatric healthcare across cities. The company’s plan to add ~1000 beds in the cities of Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, National Capital Region and Tier-II cities of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu over the next five years remains on track.

Dr Ramesh Kancharla, CMD, Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML) said, “We are happy to present this modern facility, which will provide excellent medical care for women and children in a densely populated area of central Hyderabad. This hospital is meticulously designed with carefully segregated areas for women and children to provide high-quality 24X7 consultant-led services. I am sure this addition will further augment our hub and spoke model to provide wider coverage and better access to the city. This hospital will become an important spoke hospital to complement our hub hospital at Banjara Hills, which is already ranked as a premier hospital for paediatrics in Hyderabad and the only paediatrics hospital in the country to receive JCI accreditation.”
