Redcliffe Labs Appoints Dr Sonal Saxena to Strengthen Preventive Diagnostics Leadership

Redcliffe Labs has appointed Dr Sonal Saxena as Director – Lab Operations to strengthen nationwide lab quality, accreditation and preventive diagnostics across its expanding network in India.

Redcliffe Labs has announced the appointment of Dr Sonal Saxena as Director – Lab Operations, marking a strategic move to strengthen its nationwide diagnostics network and accelerate its focus on preventive healthcare. Effective immediately, she will oversee laboratory operations across India with a mandate to enhance technical excellence, quality systems, and accreditation standards in line with the company’s growth ambitions.

In her new role, Dr Saxena will lead end-to-end lab operations to ensure reliable, patient-centric diagnostic services while supporting the expansion of Redcliffe Labs’ operational footprint. Her responsibilities will include optimising process efficiency, reinforcing quality control, and aligning laboratory practices with national and international accreditation benchmarks, thereby further consolidating the brand’s position in India’s competitive diagnostics landscape.

With more than 25 years of experience in pathology and laboratory medicine, Dr Saxena brings extensive expertise in clinical diagnostics, reference laboratory set-up, and operational leadership. She has previously held senior roles at several reputed organisations, including Dr. Lal Path Labs, Apollo Clinic, Alchemist Hospital, Diagno Labs and other leading laboratories, where she has been closely involved in laboratory management and service delivery.

A trained ISO 15189 assessor, Dr Saxena has played a key role in driving quality and compliance across her previous assignments. She has been instrumental in achieving accreditations such as NABL, CAP and ISO for multiple laboratories, underscoring her track record in building robust quality systems and governance frameworks that meet stringent regulatory and clinical standards.
