Rishihood University to launch School of Healthcare

The School of Healthcare will be offering various UG & PG degree programmes

Rishihood University announced the upcoming launch of the Rishihood School of Healthcare. Considering the need, both at the national and international levels, the university is launching its School of Healthcare for its first cohort, from the academic session 2021-22 onwards. The School of Healthcare will be offering various UG & PG degree programmes, such as B.Sc. cardiovascular technology, medical laboratory technology, MBA in healthcare management, amongst others, under the allied healthcare domain. The courses have been designed to help the students to develop a high level of expertise and technical skills with detailed learning.

Prof John Quelch, Vice Provost, University of Miami and former professor Harvard School of Public Health, will be delivering the inaugural lecture of ‘Building a Culture of Health’. The school of healthcare is a residential program and will be housed in the 25-acre Rishihood University Campus in Sonipat.

The university also plans to enter into strategic partnerships with leading hospitals, R&D labs and healthcare providers, to ensure ample training opportunities for students, as well as providing the necessary exposure to the latest healthcare technology. The programmes will focus upon some emerging areas in healthcare management such as blockchain, digital health, 3-D printing, AI, AR/VR, IOT, m-health, to name a few.
