Sakar Healthcare partners with Zydus Lifesciences to supply oncology products across GCC markets, expanding its global specialty pharma reach.

Sakar Healthcare has entered into an agreement with Zydus Lifesciences to supply oncology products across GCC markets and other emerging regions, further strengthening its global specialty pharma footprint. The company said the deal marks another milestone in its expansion strategy and takes its total number of anti-cancer agreements globally to 40.

The partnership is expected to support Sakar Healthcare’s presence in high-potential international markets, especially in oncology, where demand for specialised therapies continues to rise. Sakar said the agreement aligns with its focus on building a stronger global platform through research, manufacturing and regulated market capabilities.

Commenting on the development, Sanjay Shah, Managing Director, Sakar Healthcare Ltd, said the company’s regulatory progress and API pipeline are supporting its ability to scale operations, improve market share and drive revenue growth in the coming years.

The company added that its vertically integrated business model and growing product pipeline are helping it strengthen its position in the global oncology segment. Sakar also highlighted its expanding regulatory approvals and applications under review as part of its broader growth plan.

The agreement adds to the momentum among Indian pharmaceutical companies looking to deepen their presence in GCC and other emerging markets, particularly in oncology, which remains one of the most important specialty segments in global pharma trade.
