Schindler India sets up oxygen generation plant at Terna Speciality Hospital & Research Centre

The plant is capable of producing 98 jumbo cylinders per day

Schindler India and Terna Public Charitable Trust have jointly launched a PSA oxygen generation plant at Terna Speciality Hospital & Research Centre. Schindler India & Terna Public Charitable Trust had facilitated the setup of an oxygen generation plant at Terna Speciality Hospital and this oxygen plant works on the principles of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) and enable efficient distribution of oxygen for the needy patients in Navi Mumbai, Raigad and Thane.

The plant is capable of producing 98 jumbo cylinders per day. Schindler India Private Limited had taken up this initiative as a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Malhar Ranajagjitsinha Patil, Trustee-Terna Public Charitable trust had thanked Schindler India for their timely support. Patil said that the oxygen plant installation will be of great help for Navi Mumbai and Thane residents as there will be sufficient oxygen will be available for all types of patients. He also thanked all medical fraternity and the staff of Terna Speciality Hospital & Research Centre for their tireless effort in treating covid patients during the pandemic.
